COOKED SALMON

This oven-baked salmon is brushed with garlic butter and sprinkled with a delectable brown sugar spice mix, resulting in a perfectly baked, flavorful salmon fillet. It’s the best and easiest way to prepare salmon fillet for dinner!

Ingredients

  • 2 lemons, thinly sliced
  • 1 salmon fillet
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 6 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup chopped thyme leaves
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking tray with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray. Arrange the lemon slices in an even layer in the center of the foil.
  2. Season both sides of the salmon with salt and pepper, then place it over the lemon slices.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, garlic, thyme, and oregano. Pour this mixture over the salmon, then wrap the foil around the salmon.
  4. Bake for about 25 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through. Turn on the broiler and roast for an additional 2 minutes or until the butter mixture has set.
  5. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
