This oven-baked salmon is brushed with garlic butter and sprinkled with a delectable brown sugar spice mix, resulting in a perfectly baked, flavorful salmon fillet. It’s the best and easiest way to prepare salmon fillet for dinner!
Ingredients
- 2 lemons, thinly sliced
- 1 salmon fillet
- Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 6 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tbsp honey
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup chopped thyme leaves
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Fresh chopped parsley for garnish
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking tray with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray. Arrange the lemon slices in an even layer in the center of the foil.
- Season both sides of the salmon with salt and pepper, then place it over the lemon slices.
- In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, garlic, thyme, and oregano. Pour this mixture over the salmon, then wrap the foil around the salmon.
- Bake for about 25 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through. Turn on the broiler and roast for an additional 2 minutes or until the butter mixture has set.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
